You won't find these kind of Villas on AirBnB...

Halkidiki - Χαλκιδική

Have you ever had a horror story during your Airbnb stay?

Sad but true, who hasn’t these days?

Airbnb started as an amazing concept, but as it grows, so do the problems for both hosts and guests. Unless you book one of the best in town or have a personal recommendation, there's no guarantee you won’t encounter stained sheets or a disappointing 'Acropolis' view that’s just a reflection from your neighbor’s dirty windows.

There is a time and place for Airbnb, of course, but if you're planning a unique vacation on the other side of the world, you want to ensure that what you’ve booked is what you’ll get upon arrival.

That's why I love the Plum Promise! Let’s get into it!

What Is the Plum Promise?

Plum Guide expertly vets each and every listing on their platform.

And I don’t just mean going over the photos submitted by every and any host.

They really put in the hard work that Air BnB just does not.

By interviewing expert psychologists, designers, hoteliers, architects and regular travelers they’ve crafted a vetting checklist that they strictly adhere to. From the location and aesthetics of the home, to the tiniest details like the shower pressure or the quality of the bed linens, no detail is too small to escape their scrutiny. They even send professional home critics to each property to experience it firsthand, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of comfort, cleanliness, and style.

You won’t have to worry about misleading photos, unexpected issues, or disappointing stays.

Instead, you can relax and look forward to a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Moon Rocks In Milos

Moon Rocks Villa in Milos

There are few places on earth where you can experience stunning, lunar-like landscapes with the Mediterranean as your backdrop.

One of the top up-and-coming islands on Greek vacation radars, little Milos has gained huge traffic over the past few years, yet it still retains that quiet, village charm you won’t find in Santorini or Mykonos.

The Moon Rocks Villa in Milos is my favorite villa on the entire island because it checks all the boxes you didn’t even know you should have:

👉 The cliffside architecture and Cycladic elements of the home embrace the island and make you feel as if you’re part of the landscape.

👉 It has direct access to a sea-view veranda with a large dining table where you can sip the finest Greek wines.

👉 It’s only a 10-minute drive from town (easy enough if you’re craving some company) but provides the type of privacy and ambiance that is truly priceless.

The Garden of Earth in Tinos

The Garden of Earth in Tinos

If you think mountains and the Aegean blue can’t coexist beautifully, then let me tell you, you’re seriously missing out on some of the finer pleasures in life.

I'm completely smitten with the Garden of Earth. It’s a place where the charm of a traditional Cycladic village meets modern simplicity. Imagine sitting under the shade of olive trees, listening to cicadas sing from morning till night, all while the breeze carries hints of the sea.

You could spend your whole day just soaking in views of the Aegean, or take a short stroll and dip your toes in its cool, inviting waters. Tinos is an ideal getaway for families or anyone craving a slower pace of life, and this villa? It ticks all the right boxes

I understand that finding the right accommodation can sometimes be the trickiest part of planning a big trip abroad. But once you nail that, everything else tends to fall into place much more smoothly.

If you're looking for some guidance on how to build an itinerary that prioritizes your accommodation preferences, don’t hesitate to book a call!

Either way, I’ll see you next time! ✈️
